Cancellation Policy

I have a very lenient cancellation policy because I know that "life happens." As long as the client lets me know they need to cancel, even shortly before their assigned appointment time, I do not charge them.

However, although this has happened on only a few occasions in my many years of practice, I do have a policy that states that when a client has missed three sessions in a row without prior notification, I recognize that they are not taking themselves, counseling, or my time seriously enough to remain my client. When this happens, I no longer add them to my schedule.
